ARTHRITIS-FIGHTING INGREDIENTS HELP RELIEVE PAINFUL, SWOLLEN JOINTS
A brand-new supplement called Revive Active Joint Complex has been specially formulated for those over the age of 40, to help put new life back into ageing joints.

Available in individual powdered sachets, it offers a multifunctional approach to osteoarthritis relief. The formula contains a blend of collagen, glucosamine, methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) and hyaluronic acid, plus vitamin C, boron, manganese and copper to help promote cartilage repair, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and restore and maintain joint function and mobility.
Marine collagen extract has proven benefits for ageing joints, bones and skin.
Collagen is a major component of joint cartilage – the tough, protective tissue which covers the surface of joints and is vital to joint health. Joint Complex contains Peptan, a ‘marine collagen’, extracted from fish scales.
Peptan’s name derives from the fact that it consists of collagen peptides, which are made up of amino acids – the building blocks of cartilage. Peptan has been scientifically proven to stimulate the activity of cartilage- and bone-building cells, repair damaged joints, reduce pain and increase joint flexibility and function in as little as three months. Another benefit linked to Peptan is its high bioavailability, meaning it is more easily digested and efficiently absorbed by the body. Collagen also plays an essential role in stimulating bone formation and strengthening the structure of bone, providing the structural framework for calcium and other bone-building minerals. Peptan, in particular, helps restore bone mineral density and improve bone health by increasing bone size and strength. It has also been shown to play a preventative role in tackling osteopenia (the precursor stage to osteoporosis) and osteoporosis-type symptoms.
Collagen peptides are also renowned for their ability to promote healthy skin, helping to make it look smoother and more youthful-looking. Collagen provides the skin’s structure and strength, and helps form a support base for components such as elastin, which maintains skin elasticity, and hyaluronic acid, which locks in moisture.
The remaining ingredients in the formula help promote healthy joints
MSM possesses potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials have shown that it significantly reduces joint pain and improves joint mobility. MSM also plays an important role in the production of collagen, connective tissue and glucosamine, which are essential for healthy joints and bones. Glucosamine, in particular, helps slow down the deterioration of cartilage, relieves pain and improves joint function. Research suggests that glucosamine may also strengthen bone growth. It is naturally produced by the body, but levels of it tend to fall as we age.
Collagen peptides, such as Peptan, and glucosamine appear to work well together and have a beneficial, synergistic effect on joint health. Glucosamine is so effective in this area because, inside the body, it goes through processes that lead to the production of hyaluronic acid (HA) – another key ingredient in the formula.
HA is a special protein found naturally in joints that helps lubricate them. But in osteoarthritis patients, levels of HA are typically very low, and its ability to protect the joints and reduce pain becomes impaired as a result. HA is also a major component of synovial fluid, which helps form the protective cushions between joints. Synovial fluid is also vital to the health of cartilage, because it is the only medium through which nutrients can be carried into cartilage (which contains no blood vessels) and waste removed. It is probably no surprise then, given these numerous joint health benefits, that HA has been found to improve osteoarthritis symptoms.
Boron, vitamin C, manganese and copper all help alleviate joint pain
Arthritis sufferers often have low levels of boron in their synovial fluid and bones. Supplementing with can help reduce osteoarthritis symptoms, including joint pain, and strengthen bones.
Vitamin C helps produce collagen, and is essential for the growth and repair of body tissue. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C help reduce inflammation, which makes it beneficial in the fight against osteoarthritis. Manganese is involved in the maintenance of healthy joints and in the growth and development of normal bone structure. Manganese deficiency is associated with joint pain and arthritis. A deficiency in manganese and vitamin C also increases the risk of fracture, and adequate intake of these minerals is required to prevent osteoporosis. Copper contributes to the maintenance of healthy connective tissue and plays an important role in collagen production.
“After just 10 weeks… I am delighted with the improvement: no pain and greater mobility”
Positive customer feedback, from those who have tried the formula, certainly appears to attest to its joint health benefits:
Michael Lee, 57, a teacher and keen golfer, who was previously wearing two elbow supports to play golf, describes how he: “went through pain during and after each round” until he tried Joint Complex. Since then, he says: “The supports are gone, the pain is gone, except for the odd tweak that you’d expect. I cannot praise this product enough.”
Dee Farrell also has nothing but praise for the formula: “I started taking Joint Complex and now I would not be without it. It’s an amazing product, especially if you’re exercising, and it’s great for your skin, which is a bonus. Anyone looking to keep bones and joints strong and have good skin, this product is for you.”
And Mary Egan wrote to the product manufacturers to say: “Most of us Irish suffer from pains and stiffness in our joints. We need something to improve the health of our joints. I found Joint Complex very effective in sorting out my mobility. I suffered with one hip, and after just ten weeks on this supplement, I am delighted with the improvement: no pain and greater mobility.”
