We have partnered with Aker BioMArine to bring you the best form of Krill Oil on the market!
2017 is the year we want to make a real difference in your life. Not only have we updated our Revive Active formula, but we have also improved our Krill Oil by teaming up with Aker BioMarine - the largest contributor to the scientific investigation of krill and its health properties. The company has performed more clinical work on krill than any other company, making Superba the most researched krill brand on the market. Studies include several heart-related studies, brain health and sports nutrition.

What is Superba Krill Oil
Krill are small, shrimp like crustaceans. Antarctic krill, which can grow to six centimeters in length and weigh two grams, live in large dense swarms in the Antarctic waters.
Superba Boost Krill Oil is a natural source of essential Omega-3 fatty acids harvested from pristine Antarctic waters. It is
extracted exclusively from the Euphausia superba, an Antarctic krill species rich in the long chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenioc acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Krill is an appealing source of omega-3 s because its fatty acids are more bio-efficient. A main benefit is the absence of reflux because krill's omega-3s actually mix with the stomach contents, avoiding reflux and other unpleasant issues frequently associated with other marine sources of omega-3s.
The fats in krill are actually more similar to the total fats in fish. Where fresh fish has a combination of triglycerides and phospholipids, fish oil is solely triglycerides. Krill however, is a combination of the two – and hence, is closer in lipid composition to fresh fish – more so than fish oil itself.
An important difference between the two is how the body makes use of the Omega-3 fatty acids from triglycerides and phospholipids. Krill’s long chain omega-3s are better recognized and absorbed by the body because they are attached to phospholipids. Phospholipids are the building blocks of all cell membranes and they function as carriers of EPA and DHA to various parts of the human body, such as the brain, heart, eyes, skin and joints. Increasing evidence have shown that phospholipids are a more effective delivery form of fatty acids to body tissues than triglycerides. In addition to phospholipids, krill oil contains choline, another building block important for liver, heart and cognitive health.
Key Benefits of Krill Oil
Good for your heart
EPA & DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart
Choline contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism
Choline contributes to normal lipid metabolism
Good for your liver
Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function
Good for your brain and vision
DHA contributes to the maintenance of brain function and vision
Global Omega-3 Levels
Levels of omega-3 are generally low throughout the world, particularly in the Western World. That is why it is important to supplement these levels with a reliable form of krill oil. Do you live in a country with low levels of omega-3? To test your omega-3 levels, there is a blood test available called the Omega-3 Index test. Ask your GP for more details.
A GPS code on the bottom of each box will allow you to trace exactly where in the Antarctic your Krill Oil comes from. This is certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
